of Massachusetts Boston’s Center for Collaborative Leadership, many
of the area’s most distinguished business and civic leaders, and the
event’s sponsor Blue Cross Blue Shield, as we celebrate Greater Boston’s
future leaders at the annual Emerging Leaders lunch on Thursday, October
23, 2008 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Westin Copley Place Hotel.
The lunch will celebrate and honor the 2008 Emerging Leaders Fellows,
while introducing the Emerging Leaders Program to participants for the
2009 cohort.
We
are delighted to have as our keynote speaker Liz Walker, Award-winning
journalist and documentary producer and co-founder of Liz Walker Journey
Productions. Liz Walker is Host and Executive Producer
of WBZ 4's Sunday With Liz Walker. An ordained elder in the
African Methodist Episcopal Church and a 2005 graduate of Harvard Divinity
School, Walker has chosen to combine her communication skills with her
spiritual passion to serve the world. Ms. Walker will be giving a speech
entitled Leading with my Heart: How I Learned to Take Risks. To
