Each prospective fellow must be nominated by someone in a senior leadership position in his or her organization. The attendance fee, which is normally to be paid by the fellow’s organization, is $6,800. Limited scholarship support is available.
Submit a nomination form on-line or download the nomination form (.pdf) and mail to the program.
Nominees for the 2010 cohort will notified to apply on line; applications are due July 15, 2009.
The selection committee will then choose forty-five to fifty fellows from among the nominees.
Successful candidates will be notified of their admission by September 15, 2009.
Please use whatever internal process you and your organization prefer. The only criteria we request are that your nominee:

  • Has demonstrated leadership skills in your organization
  • Has 5-10 years of professional experience
  • Will be able to participate in the initial one week workshop during the last week in January and full day forums on the second Thursday of every month (excluding August) through September.
  • When selecting your nominee, please keep in mind that the program seeks a group of fellows that is diverse by race, gender, and profession and in this way reflects the demographics of the Greater Boston area.

“The ELP provides a unique opportunity to be exposed to a wide array of existing and emerging leaders who are forging new, more effective collaborations that will change how we live our lives in the future. My participation in this program has changed my thinking about what is possible when committed, diverse, and skilled individuals come together on issues. And it has increased my network of contacts and personal capacity to contribute to and lead these types of collaborations successfully.”
